One of the most useful articles I have read; many thanks. My Grandmother was an abulance driver in London in the Second World War. Treatment almost always included a cup of tea- thick, black tea with milk and sugar- but how much the kindness of someone making one ‘a cuppa’ ment has been frequently recorded. It showed care to one who had suffered violence, gave a moment of carm to gather ones thoughts and find a way forward and comfort to the inner man. ‘Horoble’ tea but of so much use. What a versitile plant!
